Range keys must be purchased each year with a fee of $45. In order to obtain a key, you will need to be a current member, fill out a Range Key Application Form (available on our website) and attend a range orientation class. Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed by the Rifle Range Committee for approval. When your application has been reviewed, you will be notified of your key status via mail or email. We are limiting the number of keys available to 140 keys per year in an effort to avoid people from not being able to shoot due to a line up of shooters. We only have three tables and if we have too many keys, one may end up not being able to use the range because there is always someone shooting. A waiting list will be started when the 140 key limit is reached.
Previous year key holders will be given first chance to renew their key for the next year. They will have until March 1st of each year to submit their request to renew their key. After March 1st, any available keys will be offered to members on the waiting list based on when their application was received. First come – first serve basis. The key holder list and waiting list will be kept by the Treasurer. All range rules and range times must be followed. The complete list of the range rules can be found on the club’s website & are posted at the ranges. Any violation of the rules could lead to forfeit of your club membership and range key.
The same key will be used for range and trap house. Birds on the automatic thrower are provided by the Club for a nominal fee (money box with required fees listed is in the trap house). Buckets will be supplied for shells and spent cartridges. Please take all garbage along with you.
Check the October Calendar page for information on the Annual Trap Shoot.
